Ten MORE thoughts on relationships

1. Nothing Hallmark carries will fix what is fundamentally broken.

2. The one who loves more, controls less.

3. Opposites attract, yes, but eventually its precisely that which repels one another. Sameness has longevity.

4. The brightest bulb burns out quickest.

5. Relationships aren't 50/50. They're 100/100.

6. Being alone doesn't necessarily mean being lonesome.

7. Laughing till you cry is much better than crying till you laugh.

8. You should give what you get, unless you don't get what you want.

9. The opposite of love isn't hate. It's indifference.

10. Always keep a chocolate bar within easy reach.

Ten thoughts on relationships

1. You don't stop loving someone just because they hurt you.

2. The more you talk to people about your problems, the easier they become to eradicate.

3. You can't make someone love you if they don't.

4. In the "adult" world, children suffer most.

5. If you confide in someone about your deepest, darkest secrets, you cannot do it half-way.

6. For me, reciprocity of love AND devotion is non-negotiable.

7. Honesty really is the best policy. Hands down.

8. There may actually be something to celibacy.

9. If you desire something badly enough, you will find a way to achieve it.

10. It is much better to have only one person in your life in whom you can confide without fear, than have a hundred friends with whom you have to watch your words because they prejudge you.
